Hey Grimms ❤
It’s been awhile so I thought I’d do a little Grimm Baby Update! As many of you know I’m pregnant. If you didn’t know then you are probably a bit new to the Grimm Community we have going on here. I am 30 weeks pregnant so this has been cooking along for a while now. With that said I have checked in with everyone for a minute now and I thought it would make a cool post.
So here are a few Grimm Baby Facts!
One: Due Date Is…
January 31st!
But to be honest babies come when they want to come. This baby could really come at anytime around that date. So usually I just tell people that baby is coming at the end of January or early February.
Two: The Gender Is….
A surprise!
I love surprises and waiting until birth to find out with our first daughter was so much fun. Nobody in the delivery room knew whether our baby was a girl or a boy not even my midwife. Everyone is always trying to come up with these cool “gender reveal” parties but let me tell you just waiting until the day of was the coolest reveal ever.
Three: I’m Having The Baby…
At home.
Yep! You read me correctly. I’m having an at home water birth. This is also the way my lovely daughter came into the world. My daughter was actually born in a small pool in my Mother’s living room! It was honestly the best experience. That being said home birth isn’t for everyone. I think people should do whatever is most comfortable for them.
I also have a very experienced midwife team. I did not just have a baby alone by myself! I am very excited to have my baby at home though. It is where I personal feel most confident and in control and I think you need that sort of mindset going into labor.
Four: My Labor Will Be…
All natural.
Needles FREAK ME OUT!!!! Have you ever seen how they give an epidural? Nope, nope, NOPE! I cannot even attempt to do such a crazy thing. Seriously when I even think about an epidural I shudder and feel like I can’t breathe.
I know this sounds highly ironic because I have tattoos but you can’t even see the needle in a tattoo gun. At least I never look at it and see it. You can’t miss the epidural needle. Plus it goes into your spine… GAHHHHHH! IT ALREADY IS FREAKING ME OUT!
So for my personality going all natural is the way to go. Don’t get me wrong, it hurts, but it’s survivable I promise. Plus the idea of going all natural doesn’t make me want to have a panic attack.
Five: My Plans Are…
To continue on.
GrimmGirl will still be GrimmGirl even with the newest addition to our little family. I will honestly probably still stick with the once a week posts for a smidge after the baby is born but eventually we’ll all adjust and I hope to be posting daily again.
I can’t wait to let you all know when the baby is born! Only nine more weeks to go so stay tuned ❤
Check you all later.
I do not own these images
Yeah! Love your choices !

I’m really pumped about our winter baby. I live in the Midwest so all of the winter hats and clothes for babies are SO CUTE! I tried to get the hubby onboard fur Hikaru or Tamaki 😂

Major congrats on the impending maternity! 🙂
…all natural? I am recalling what Bill Cosby said when his wife tried that, and then practically ripped his head straight off while demanding morphine. So, with that in mind, let me simply say, with complete sincerity:
Good luck!
