30 Day Lipstick Challenge (Day 12): Sugarpill Cosmetics Trinket

Whelp….

Can we all just accept that I suck at posting challenges? I never keep up! I started out strong with this Lipstick Challenge and then as my scheduled posts ran out I quickly fell off the wagon. Ah, well. At least I tried right? I will continue with my Lipstick Challenge just know that I will be posting sporadically.

Day 12 is here so I am almost halfway through this challenge. Basically I’m a work in progress and I’m okay with that. Day 12 features Sugarpill Cosmetics liquid lipstick Trinket. I waited forever to get my hands on this baby and it is 100% worth it.

I may even like the formula better than Jeffree Star’s and that is saying something. You know how big a fan I am of that brand. Jeffree Star still wins out when it comes to colors and application. I’m not sure what the deal is with the Sugarpill application wand but I am not a fan of the doe foot. It’s too stiff.

The color as you can see though is magical. It’s a neutral color but that gold shimmer rings out shiny and true. Even though it’s more of a nude the gold shimmer makes it more fun. I wear this to a lot of different places out and about. Since the gold simmer isn’t crazy intense you can get away with it for a daytime look.

Decided to sport my Trinket lipstick while working at my second job tending bar (HeeHee… See what I did there?)

That being said I’d admit I’ve never worn this lipstick to my day job. I work with a lot of families for my job and gold shimmer doesn’t exactly scream professional. I have no problem wearing it out and about during the day when I’m not working though. I actually get a fair amount of compliments when I do wear this so it seems like it’s a pretty big hit.

What about you? Are you feeling this gold shimmer?
