Blogger in the Spotlight: Arria Cross

It’s that time of the month again (phrasing) where I draw attention to a blogger that I feel is really rocking it. This month I want to shine the spotlight on Arria Cross the founder of I can’t say enough about this girl. I only know her from the blogging-sphere but I can tell she’s a super chill person and I love how supportive she is of the anime/manga blogging community. She was literally one of my first followers and I remember thinking how cool it was that someone who was so much more established than me even noticed my little blog! She’s the perfect choice for our second Blogger in the Spotlight and I’m about to throw down three great reasons you’re going to want to check her out if you haven’t already.

Reason Number One: Content

You can tell Arria has had her website up and running for a while because of the amount of content. It’s great! I’m a newbie so I have about 35 posts. When you think about it that’s nothing. You can literally cruise through my entire website in a night and to be honest it probably wouldn’t even take that long… pathetic I know. Arria has over three hundred posts on her site. Trust me, is going to keep you busy! It’s kind of nice to go to a website where you know you can procrastinate a day away 🙂

Reason Number Two: Diversity

One thing I really enjoy about Arria’s setup is that it’s not catered to just one thing specifically. As you can tell from my own site I have pretty diverse interests so I tend to enjoy bloggers who have a variety of things on their websites as well.

Arria has a good range of manga/anime posts all conveniently organized in alphabetical order on the left hand side of the screen! I can only dream that GrimmGirl will ever be so accessible. I’m willing to bet she’s written about something you enjoy. Between the anime, manga, music, and One Piece quiz (beginner, intermediate, and advance levels) you can get lost in there. That’s a good thing.

Reason Number Three: Blogging Advice

I’m a total novice when it comes to my blog so I can use all the help I can get! I love that Arria periodically shares her advice on blogging. From post length to being a helicopter blogger I find her style of writing to be witty without being condescending. That’s hard to come by sometimes, so if you are considering starting your own blog reading some of her posts wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Don’t just read my post about her go check her blog out! You can see what I’m talking about yourself by clicking on her blog’s link here!

Happy reading and enjoy 🙂

Have a blog you think I’d enjoy checking out? Let me know in the comments below. I love spreading the good word on great content.

  1. Oh my goodness, Kat! I didn’t know that you featured me! Ahaha! If I wasn’t surfing through my WordPress reader, I would’ve missed this post altogether. I’m not complaining, mind you. Anyway, oh my gosh. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! You’re so sweet. This post literally made my day. I’m not even sure if the blogger you’re talking about here is the same as me, but oh well, I’ll take all compliments with heartfelt gratitude. I’ll gloat about this post in my blog soon.

  2. When I first started blogging, Arria was one of the first anibloggers I followed. I got intrigued by her when she did posts about One Piece and I automatically got hooked. When I first talked to her, I was amazed to see how much she loves One Piece. Thanks to her blogging tips, I even improved my own blog and skills. She’s pretty awesome blogger. 🙂
    Great spotlight post. ^_^
